Persistent is seeking a highly experienced AWS Agentic AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on AWS.

The role requires deep expertise in Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, AgentCore, MCP, RAG, and multi‑agent orchestration, with responsibilities spanning architecture governance, modernization, mentoring, and customer collaboration to deliver scalable, secure, production‑ready AI systems.

About Position

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Agentic AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across the AWS AI ecosystem, including Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, AgentCore, Knowledge Bases, MCP (Model Context Protocol), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multi-agent orchestration frameworks. This role requires a strong technical leader capable of defining enterprise architecture strategies, driving AI transformation programs, mentoring engineering teams, and collaborating with customers to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions.

What You'll Do

• Strong hands‑on expertise in AWS cloud architecture and enterprise application design.
• Proven experience designing large‑scale cloud‑native applications and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, AgentCore, and Knowledge Bases.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI architectures and multi‑agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agent communication patterns.
• Experience developing AI‑powered enterprise applications using Generative AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, and AI solution design.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms, and cloud services with AI applications.
• Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture, API‑led Architecture, and Event‑Driven Systems.
• Experience designing highly scalable, secure, resilient, and cost‑effective cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud governance frameworks.
• Experience with architecture governance, technology roadmaps, and modernization strategies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and complex problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, consulting, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading large enterprise transformation programs and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to mentor engineering teams and establish architecture best practices across organizations.

Expertise You'll Bring

• 12‑15 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and Cloud Transformation programs.
• Extensive expertise in AWS Architecture and large‑scale cloud solution design.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agents, AgentCore, and Bedrock Knowledge Bases.
• Strong expertise in Agentic AI architecture, multi‑agent systems, and autonomous workflow implementations.
• Experience building Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Strong understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool calling frameworks, agent‑to‑tool interactions, and enterprise AI integration patterns.
• Experience designing agent orchestration frameworks, memory architectures, human‑in‑the‑loop workflows, and enterprise‑grade AI operations.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture, Microservices Architecture, and distributed system design.
• Experience integrating AI platforms with enterprise applications, APIs, RDBMS platforms, messaging systems, and third‑party services.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, EventBridge, ECS, EKS, and serverless architectures.
• Experience defining scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI security, governance, compliance, observability, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience designing identity, authentication, authorization, and access governance models for enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of scalability patterns, disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and high‑availability architectures.
• Experience evaluating and adopting modern AI frameworks, orchestration platforms, and emerging GenAI technologies.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise AI implementations at scale.
• Strong customer‑facing consulting experience and ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading architecture governance, design reviews, technical strategy sessions, and transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Knowledge Management, and AI platform architecture principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience working directly with AWS teams, enterprise customers, and executive sponsors.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and production‑ready AI solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and strategic decision‑making capabilities.
• Experience leading large customer engagements and enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, security, and customer success.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect ? Professional and relevant AI/ML certifications are highly desirable.
• Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise‑scale AI solutions leveraging AWS cloud‑native services and Agentic AI platforms.
