FIS Solutions (India) Private Limited - Pune is seeking an AWS Production Support Engineer to provide production support for treasury and payments applications. You will ensure high availability, incident resolution, and excellent client experiences in a 24x7 environment.

The role requires strong AWS skills, Java enterprise app support, SQL proficiency, and collaboration with global stakeholders across cloud-hosted environments on AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and production support in cloud-based environments.
• Experience supporting Java-based enterprise applications and containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL skills with ability to analyze data and troubleshoot application issues.
• Experience in production support, client services, or technical support in banking, treasury, payments, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, treasury workflows, and payment processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for treasury and payments applications, ensuring high availability and operational excellence.
• Support cloud-hosted environments across AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal application performance and stability.
• Ensure platform stability, incident resolution, service availability, and exceptional client experience across business-critical applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service disruptions, and client-reported issues within agreed service levels.
• Monitor application performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem records using ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to restore services and improve platform reliability.
• Analyze application logs, system metrics, and database queries to diagnose complex technical issues.

About the team

At FIS we are looking for a Product Support Representative to join the FIS Enterprise Treasury Client Experience team. The successful candidate will provide treasury and payments production application support to our client base.

About the Role

As an AWS Production Support Engineer, you will provide critical production application support for treasury and payments solutions used by global financial institutions and corporate clients. Success in this role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders while supporting a 24x7 operational environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide production support for treasury and payments applications, ensuring high availability and operational excellence.
• Support cloud-hosted environments across AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal application performance and stability.
• You will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, incident resolution, service availability, and exceptional client experience across business-critical applications.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and production support activities in cloud-based environments.
• Experience supporting Java-based enterprise applications and containerized environments using Kubernetes
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze data and troubleshoot application issues.
• Experience in application production support, client services, or technical support roles within banking, treasury, payments, or financial services environments.
• Strong understanding of financial operations, treasury workflows, and payment processing environments.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and/or Linux operating systems administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience using incident management and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with proven client-facing experience.
