Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Bengaluru seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement and secure scalable AWS infrastructure. You will build CI/CD pipelines with integrated security, automate provisioning via Terraform/CloudFormation, and drive DevSecOps across the SDLC.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 years IT experience with AWS, strong scripting, containerization, cloud security, and experience with monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of IT experience with a minimum of 4+ years in AWS Cloud and DevSecOps environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route53, and RDS.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in IaC using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, vulnerability management, security automation, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, Aqua, Prisma Cloud, or Trivy.
• Experience with source code management tools including GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, security groups, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement DevSecOps practices across software development and deployment lifecycles.
• Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerized applications.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response mechanisms.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive cloud governance, cost optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis for infrastructure and application problems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices across teams.
