Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced DevOps/Kubernetes engineer to configure and operate a large-scale Kubernetes deployment in AWS, leveraging EKS and alternative clusters (GKE/AKS).

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, container image management, and observability via OpenTelemetry, plus GitOps using Helm and Flux CD for reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and operating large-scale Kubernetes deployments.
• Proficiency with EKS; GKE/AKS a plus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in AWS; Terraform/Ansible preferred.
• Hands-on CI/CD tooling management (Azure DevOps/Jenkins).
• Container image creation and management; observability tooling (OpenTelemetry).
• GitOps workflows using Helm and Flux CD.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate a large-scale Kubernetes implementation.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Azure DevOps/Jenkins).
• Work with Terraform & Ansible for IaC across AWS environments.
• Create and manage container images and deploy observability solutions (OpenTelemetry).
• Implement GitOps practices with Helm and Flux CD.

• Experience in the configuration & operation of a large-scale Kubernetes implementation
• Experience with EKS essential, GKE/AKS advantageous
• Using Infrastructure as Code" in AWS
• Experience in the configuration & management of CI/CD tooling, ideally using Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins
• Terraform & Ansible
• Practical experience in creating and managing Container images
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring Observability solutions (ideally using OpenTelemetry)
