Role Overview

We are hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure, Terraform automation, container deployments, security best practices, and Python scripting. You will help maintain and scale our AWS environments, support deployments, and strengthen our security posture.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage AWS resources using Terraform modules for consistent infra provisioning.
  • Deploy and operate services on ECS (Fargate), Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and related components.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Improve security by enforcing IAM best practices, Config rules, SecurityHub checks, WAF policies, and SOC2 controls.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate infra tasks, workflows, and operational tools.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and work closely with developers for smooth deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across containers, networking, and serverless systems.
Requirements
  • 2 to 4+ years of DevOps experience with strong AWS fundamentals.
  • Solid experience with Terraform, Ansible, ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, and networking basics.
  • Good understanding of cloud security and SOC2 readiness practices.
  • Strong Python scripting skills for automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Familiarity with observability tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with EKS, Step Functions, or Secrets Manager.
  • AWS certifications.

Engagement Type: Fulltime – Direct‑hire on the Delightree payroll.
Shift time: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Job Type: Permanent.
Location: Remote.
