Job summary

Capgemini in Bengaluru seeks an experienced AWS-focused cloud engineer to design and implement scalable infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript). You will build reusable IaC, set up CI/CD pipelines, and manage AWS services across EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and more.

Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure deployments, monitor with CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry, and apply best practices for IAM, encryption, and secrets management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Expertise in AWS Cloud Services.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, or scripting languages such as Python/Bash.
• Experience with Git-based source control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript).
• Develop reusable and scalable IaC solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry tools.
• Automate deployment of cloud-native applications across AWS environments.
• Configure and manage AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront).
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability with CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with development, security and platform teams to ensure secure deployments.
