Job summary

Bounteous in Bengaluru (Hybrid) is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, AWS architecture, solution design, reporting tools, and data modeling. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica, NiFi, and modern Python/Java/Scala, with CI/CD basics in Jenkins or GitHub.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, AWS architecture, solution design, reporting tools and data modeling.
• Bachelors or Masters in a technology related field required.
• Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, PL/SQL and Informatica ETL tools.
• Proficient with AWS services and ingestion tools like NiFi; familiar with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data warehouse concepts, and programming languages (Python, Java, Scala).
• Ability to work in a matrixed onshore/offshore environment with good communication.

The Expertise you have - 5+ years of experience in multiple IT areas that include Data Warehousing, AWS architecture, solution designing, Reporting tool and data modeling

Bachelors or Masters Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Software) required

Technical / Behavioral

• Work experience in Snowflake, Oracle, PL SQL and ETL tools like Informatica, good understanding of relational databases and data warehouses concepts
• Good understanding of various AWS offerings. Preferably knowing the following software/tools:
• S3, EC2, EMR, RDS, Dynamo DB, CFT, CLI / SDK
• Apache NIFI and similar Ingestion tools
• Object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work in a matrixed (onshore/offshore) environment.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations.
• Capacity to quickly learn and incorporate new technologies.
