Job summary

Kezan Consulting is seeking an AWS Redshift Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our hybrid team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing on Redshift, and optimized SQL and Python-based data processing.

The candidate will work with Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, and orchestration tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on AWS data services experience, data modeling skills, and strong SQL/Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Redshift.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, and Athena.
• Hands‑on experience in ETL/ELT and data warehousing.
• Good understanding of data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience with PySpark/Spark is preferred.
• Knowledge of Airflow, Git, and CI/CD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on AWS.
• Work extensively with Amazon Redshift for data warehousing, loading, transformation, and query optimization.
• Develop data pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, and Athena.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for large datasets.

• Implement data ingestion from databases, APIs, files, and other sources.
• Perform data modeling, schema design, data validation, and quality checks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance and AWS resource usage.
• Work with Airflow or AWS Step Functions for workflow orchestration.
• Follow best practices for Git, CI/CD, security, and data governance.
