Job summary

QualMinds is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions. You will build dashboards, prepare data for analysis, and work with cross-functional teams to turn business questions into actionable insights.

You will design scalable data architectures on AWS, develop ETL/ELT pipelines with Glue, Lambda, S3, and Athena, and optimize data warehouses with Redshift while advancing data governance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in BI reporting preferably AWS QuickSight.
• Deep expertise in AWS data stack (Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena).
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with data visualization tools, preferably AWS QuickSight.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Core Technical Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data architectures on AWS.
• Build and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, and Athena.
• Model and optimize data warehouses (primarily Amazon Redshift).
• Implement and manage data visualization and self‑service analytics (e.g., AWS QuickSight).
• Develop and maintain data transformation processes using SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.
