Job summary

Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited in India is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and deploy scalable AWS data pipelines and analytics workloads. Your work will cover data lakes, warehousing, and real-time data flows across enterprise clients.

You will collaborate with analytics teams, implement IaC with Terraform, and champion data governance, quality, and security at scale. The role offers growth into senior data engineering and cloud architecture tracks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS data services and building data pipelines for enterprise data platforms.
• Experience designing data lakes and data warehouses with governance and security controls.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS data pipelines using Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and EMR.
• Develop and optimize data lakes on S3 with partitioning and Glue Data Catalog governance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement real-time streaming data workflows using Kinesis, MSK, or DynamoDB Streams.
• Ensure data quality and reliability through monitoring (CloudWatch) and testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to model data warehouses (Redshift, Athena) and enable self-service BI.

• Ensure data quality and reliability through monitoring (CloudWatch), alerting, and pipeline testing frameworks.
