Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to design, deploy and manage cloud-based data solutions on AWS. You will develop scalable, secure architectures using EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and VPC, and automate with IaC while monitoring costs and enforcing security.

You will collaborate with DevOps to support deployments and CI/CD pipelines, and handle system upgrades, patches, and backups in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage applications on AWS cloud platform
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems
• Work with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Monitor system performance and ensure cost optimization
• Implement security best practices and compliance policies
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for deployments
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer / SysOps)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
• Exposure to serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with data services (Redshift, Glue, Athena)
• Experience with microservices architecture
