Virtusa in Hyderabad seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer / GenAI Developer with 10+ years of experience to design, build, and deploy intelligent agents using AWS Bedrock and AWS Lambda. You will shape scalable AI-powered automation in a complex enterprise environment.

You will lead agent development, implement serverless orchestration, ensure robust API integration with internal databases and external SaaS platforms, and apply strong Python (Boto3) or Node.js expertise to deliver reliable Bedrock

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or GenAI development.
• Deep experience with AWS Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on configuring AWS Bedrock Agents and managing foundation models.
• Proficiency in Python (Boto3) or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience integrating Bedrock with internal databases and external services.

Job description

Required 10+ Years experience, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer / GenAI Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent agents using AWS Bedrock and AWS Lambda.

Key Responsibilities

Agent Development: Design, configure, and deploy AWS Bedrock Agents to automate multi-step business processes.

Serverless Orchestration: Write, optimize, and maintain AWS Lambda functions (Python or similar language) to serve as the action groups and business logic behind Bedrock agents.

API Integration: Connect Bedrock agents to internal databases, third-party SaaS platforms, and enterprise APIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

AWS Core Expertise: Deep experience with AWS Lambda, IAM roles/policies, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.

Generative AI: Hands-on experience configuring AWS Bedrock Agents, managing foundation models (Anthropic Claude, Amazon Titan, etc.), and integrating Bedrock Knowledge Bases.

Programming: Proficiency in Python (preferred, using Boto3) or Node.js.

API Design: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON schema definitions, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications (required for Bedrock Action Group
