Job summary

Moody's Investors Service in India seeks a senior product analyst to drive digital asset capabilities and tokenization strategies across evolving financial markets. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate market and client needs into strategic initiatives and roadmaps, leveraging blockchain architectures and AI-enabled workflows.

The role requires 7+ years in product analysis, fintech or capital markets, with strong communication skills and a background in blockchain technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business, technology, engineering, data analytics or related field.
• Experience in product analysis and digital assets in fintech or capital markets is a plus.
• Proficiency in blockchain concepts and infrastructure is required.

• Advance digital asset product capabilities delivering credit-relevant insights across evolving financial markets.
• Monitor developments in digital assets, tokenization and market infrastructure to identify product opportunities.
• Support evaluation and prioritization of strategic initiatives for Moody’s Ratings in digital markets.
• Translate market developments and client needs into actionable plans and roadmap inputs.
• Define and evolve technology architecture, including blockchain integrations and API platforms.
• Collaborate with analytical, technology and operational stakeholders on capability enhancements and roadmaps.
• Analyze stakeholder needs to support product strategy and governance.
• Support interoperability, settlement, custody and asset mobility across digital asset ecosystems.
• Communicate complex market and tech developments to senior stakeholders clearly.

Skills and Competencies

• 7+ years of experience in product analysis, digital assets, financial technology, blockchain infrastructure, tokenization or capital markets with demonstrated proficiency architecting blockchain solutions and DeFi applications and comprehensive knowledge of blockchain technology stack
• Strong understanding of digital asset market structure, tokenization, stablecoins, distributed ledger technologies and digital market infrastructure along with experience in deriving or assessing digital asset risks for blockchain platforms, smart contracts, blockchain oracles and wallet infrastructure
• Product management experience and knowledge of smart contract development, with Solidity, DAML, Rust or Canton Network architecture certifications preferred
• Working exposure to structured and unstructured data sources, including on-chain and off-chain data
• Experience supporting pilots, integrations or multi-stakeholder initiatives in a build-test-scale environment
• Ability to translate emerging market developments and business objectives into strategic initiatives and executable priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical, analytical, commercial and risk stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency and support responsible and ethical AI use

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in finance, economics, business, technology, engineering, data analytics or a related field

• Support evaluation and prioritization of strategic initiatives that strengthen Moody’s Ratings’ position within evolving digital financial markets
• Translate market developments, client needs and business priorities into actionable plans, capability enhancements and roadmap inputs
• Support the definition and evolution of technology architecture, including integrations with blockchain networks, tokenization platforms, oracle frameworks, application programming interfaces and external platforms
• Partner with analytical, technology and operational stakeholders to identify capability enhancements, technical designs and implementation roadmaps
• Analyze stakeholder needs and emerging opportunities to support product strategy, capability development, planning and governance activities
• Support initiatives related to interoperability, settlement, custody and asset mobility across digital asset ecosystems
• Communicate complex market, business and technology developments to senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner

Our Digital Economy team within Moody’s Ratings supports the firm’s strategy for innovative technologies including digital assets, tokenization, decentralized finance, stablecoins, on-chain infrastructure and data-driven innovation. The team works across analytical, technology, risk oversight, commercial and operational functions to develop scalable capabilities that help Moody’s Ratings understand, assess, ingest and deliver credit-relevant insights in digital financial markets.
