Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India seeks an accomplished Analytics Leader to drive advanced analytics initiatives for global clients. You will oversee data science, MLOps, and BI workloads, guiding offshore teams and managing client engagements across multiple time zones.

The role requires 12+ years in core analytics with leadership experience, strong communication skills, and hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, BI tools, and cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas.
• 12+ years core analytics experience including data science, Gen‑AI, LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and model evaluation.
• Experience with MLOps and model lifecycle practices including deployment, monitoring, drift detection, retraining; tools like MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes or cloud-native ML platforms.
• Experience with any cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is beneficial.
• Experience in dual shore engagements and direct client management.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI and cloud data storage like Snowflake/S3/ADLS Gen2; exposure to modeling techniques.
• Managerial experience leading analytics teams, offshore staff career development, training and recruiting.
• Strong leadership, proactiveness, business impact focus and entrepreneurial hands-on approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments and collaborate across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics teams including offshore staff career development and training.
• Manage client engagements directly, including dual‑shore projects.
• Implement end-to-end analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Tableau/Power BI and cloud data storage.

Job description

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/master’s degree in economics, mathematics, computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply
• 12+ years’ Core Analytics experience (Data Science, Gen-AI, Large Language Models, including prompt engineering, embeddings, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, and model evaluation, ML-AI Model Development, Data Engineering, Databricks) with prior Consulting/Implementation Experience preferably with Life Insurance Clients.
• Working knowledge of MLOps and model lifecycle practices, including model deployment support, monitoring, drift detection, retraining, and tools such as MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native ML platforms.
• Experience on any cloud (AWS / Azure/ GCP), is an added advantage.
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
• Experience in working in dual shore engagement and must have experience in managing clients directly
• Complete understanding and demonstrated experience of Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI and Could Data Storage Solutions like Snowflake/S3/ADLS Gen2 and various modeling techniques
• Managerial experience in leading analytics teams including career management of offshore staff, training, recruiting.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to take initiative
• Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work
