Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Avaloq Tester (QA Engineer) to lead comprehensive testing of Avaloq Core Banking applications in a hybrid, PAN India setup. The role focuses on functional testing, integration testing, UAT support, and validating banking processes across wealth, private, and retail segments.

The ideal candidate will apply strong analytical skills, create robust test scenarios, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and smooth production releases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Avaloq Core Banking testing experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle DB validation.
• Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of STLC and software testing methodologies.
• Experience in API testing and integration testing.
• Banking domain knowledge in wealth management, private & retail banking.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of Avaloq Core Banking applications and modules.
• Analyze requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate Avaloq parameterization, workflows, and business processes.
• Conduct Functional Testing, SIT, Regression Testing, and UAT.
• Verify data integrity across Avaloq modules and integrated systems.
• Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and observations.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and Stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Track and manage defects using defect management tools.
• Support production releases and post-implementation validation activities.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test status reporting.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Avaloq Tester (QA Engineer) with strong expertise in testing Avaloq Core Banking applications with test master tool experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional testing, integration testing, UAT support, and banking domain validation within wealth management, private banking, and retail banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of Avaloq Core Banking applications and modules.
• Analyze functional and business requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate Avaloq parameterization, workflows, and business processes.
• Conduct Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Verify data integrity across Avaloq modules and integrated systems.
• Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and observations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Track and manage defects using defect management tools.
• Support production releases and post-implementation validation activities.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and test status reporting.
