Job summary

Tecnoprism is seeking an Avaloq Developer/Senior Developer to design, build, customize and maintain core banking and wealth management solutions on the Avaloq Banking Suite.

The role focuses on translating complex financial requirements into technical specifications using Oracle PL/SQL and Avaloq scripting, while delivering robust interfaces and scalable solutions.

Job description

Role: Avaloq Developer/Senior Developer

Avaloq Developer is responsible for designing, building, customizing, and maintaining core banking and wealth management solutions on the Avaloq Banking Suite. They translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications using Oracle PL/SQL, and Avaloqs proprietary scripting language.

Core Responsibilities

Parameterization & Development: Customize and enhance core banking functionalities directly within the Avaloq system.

Scripting & Database: Write and maintain business logic using PL/SQL, Avaloq Scripting and AMI (Avaloq Message Interface) and other avaloq parameterization like Object Model/Forms/Workflows/Order Validation/Reports etc.

Integration: Build and maintain seamless interfaces between the core banking system and external banking applications.

Business Analysis: Translate business requirements from wealth management and investment banking into scalable technical solutions.

Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause analysis, bug fixing, and performance tuning for the platform.

Technical Requirements

Platform Experience: 1 to 10 Years of Hands-on development and parameterization experience within the Avaloq Core Banking Platform.

Database Skills: Proficiency in Oracle databases and PL/SQL.

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of core business processes in private banking, wealth management, or retail banking.

Methodologies: Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Certification: Holding an Avaloq Certified Professional (ACCP) is an advantage.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
