Job summary

Texas Instruments India seeks an AV&V Manager to own end-to-end validation for the first T28 industrial ASIC in the MCU/Industrial space. You will lead the AV&V, FPGA prototyping, and hardware emulation efforts, ensuring top quality across temperature and voltage corners and coordinating with global teams.

The role emphasizes mentoring teams, driving validation methodologies, and collaborating with Test, Software/ROM, and Analog Design to deliver robust silicon solutions for AI-driven data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor validation and prototyping, with leadership experience in engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of board-level hardware concepts, high-speed signal integrity, and lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SoC Validation, FPGA & Emulation for wireless connectivity devices.

Role Title: AV&V Manager

Role Summary: Own end-to-end functional validation activities of the first T28 industrial ASIC for the ASM Industrial business. This role combines AV&V team ownership with functional team leadership, flawless post-silicon execution, FPGA prototyping, and hardware emulation to ensure our highly differentiated products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Drive results, manage execution timelines, and own the career growth and mentorship of the complete AVnV ( Functional Validation), FPGA, and Post-Silicon Validation team.
• FPGA Prototyping & Emulation: Drive SoC prototyping and validation strategies using high-performance platforms, specifically FPGA (e.g., Xilinx/AMD, Intel) and Palladium hardware emulation environments.
• Silicon Bring-up: Lead the planning and execution of post-silicon bring-up, functional validation, and characterization activities across temperature and voltage corners.
• Board-Level Concepts: Architect, review, and oversee the development of complex validation boards, custom FPGA prototyping boards, reference platforms, and test fixtures required for silicon evaluation.
• Cross-Functional Debug: Interact heavily with Test, Software/ROM, Application Engineering, and Analog Design teams to isolate, root-cause, and debug complex silicon bugs using both lab equipment and FPGA/Emulation trace environments.
• Influence & Governance: Participate in and conduct rigorous hardware design reviews, board schematic reviews, and post-silicon/FPGA readiness gates.
• Methodology Innovation: Innovate and drive improved validation methodologies and automation frameworks, collaborating with EDA and instrument vendors to upgrade lab tools, FPGA synthesis/mapping tools, and emulation flows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in semiconductor validation and prototyping, with a proven track record of managing or leading engineering teams.
• Technical Depth: Strong understanding of board-level hardware concepts, high-speed signal integrity, lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), FPGA prototyping workflows, and emulation platforms (Palladium).
• Leadership Skills: Ability to drive results from the team even without having complete command of a specific domain.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.
• Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, time management, analytical problem-solving, and a result-driven attitude to handle dynamically evolving requirements.
