Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an Automotive Systems Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Engineer to diagnose vehicle electrical systems and develop guided troubleshooting content.

You will work with testers, OBD-II tools, and diagnostic equipment, while documenting test results and refitting procedures to support ongoing vehicle diagnostics efforts.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Create high-quality automotive content using various authoring tools.
• Interpret Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) and error codes.
• Perform component testing with automotive testing equipment.
• Maintain records of tests and removal/refit procedures.
• Understand wiring diagrams and DIN standards.

Responsibilities

Job Desc Should be able to diagnose vehicle independently, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in vehicles, create content for Guided trouble shooting.

Must Have Skills

• Research and create high-quality, informative, and engaging automotive content using different Authoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of Gasoline, Diesel, Comfort & Safety systems. With detail workflow & working of sensors & actuators involved in these systems.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and procedures related to removal & refit is important. This knowledge will allow to create informative and instructional content.
• Diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems problems in Vehicle using different testers & Diagnoses tools.
• Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) identification and understanding the specific error code that has been generated.
• Conduct vehicle testing, including Individual component testing. Proficiency in using automotive testing and diagnostic equipment, such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of automotive electrical system wiring diagram, wire color codes, connectors, and components and its functionalities. Including understanding symbols & DIN standards
• Maintain detailed document records of system tests, Removal & refit procedures, and results for reference and guidelines.
