Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Chennai is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Selenium, Cucumber, and Java. You will work on test automation frameworks, WebDriver-based scripts, and BDD-driven test design.

We expect strong Java skills, familiarity with Selenium Grid and TestNG, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Remote interview is available, and mode of interview is virtual.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years hands-on experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Java test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Web Environment, Web Elements and operations on Web Elements.
• Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming.
• Experience with Selenium suite tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid).
• Strong knowledge of Java programming and debugging of test cases.
• Experience with BDD approach and automation framework development (JUnit/TestNG/Maven).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Must Have Skills:

• Associate 3 to 7 Years of hands‑on experience in Selenium Cucumber Java test automation
• Good Knowledge on Web Environment, Web Elements and Operations on the Web Elements
• Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation
• Good knowledge on Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid)
• Strong Knowledge of Java Programming
• Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors
• Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands.
• Strong knowledge in BDD approach
• Implementing JUnit / TestNG/MAVEN Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure
• Strong Communication and Stakeholder management.
