Job summary

OptimoShell Global Private Limited is seeking an Automation Tester with 2 years of experience to develop and execute automated tests for web applications and AI-powered features, ensuring product quality and reliability. The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, API testing via Postman, and strong problem-solving skills.

Based in Zirakpur, Mohali, or North India is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automation testing/QA experience.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with AI tools/LLMs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated test scripts for web and AI-based applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and API testing.
• Automate repetitive test scenarios and maintain automation suites.
• Test AI features for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and track bugs using Jira or similar.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams and maintain test docs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and executeautomated test scriptsfor web and AI-based applications.
• Performfunctional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Automate repetitive test scenarios and maintain automation test suites.
• Test AI features foraccuracy, consistency, relevance, and unexpected responses.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools likeJiraor similar.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain test scripts, test documentation, and reports.

Requirements

• 2 years of experiencein Automation Testing / QA.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such asSelenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Understanding ofSDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience withAPI testing/Postmanis preferred.
• Exposure toAI tools/LLMs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claudeis an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
