Job summary

Datamatics is seeking a Test Lead with 11+ years of experience to own the end-to-end test lifecycle, drive automation strategy, and mentor a team in a fast-paced delivery environment in Mumbai/Bangalore.

Playwright experience is mandatory. You will work with Selenium, Appium, Tosca, Katalon, and TestComplete while integrating with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps, ensuring quality KPIs and Agile adherence.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of testing leadership experience.
• Playwright experience is mandatory and must be demonstrated.
• Strong automation framework design and scripting skills; hands-on with multiple tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end test lifecycle including tool selection, scripting, execution, maintenance and reporting.
• Mentor and manage a team of test engineers, providing guidance and feedback on performance.
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to SDLC/Agile practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and implement automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Tosca, Katalon, TestComplete, etc.
• Oversee CI/CD integration with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Coordinate REST API testing, performance testing (JMeter/BlazeMeter), and accessibility testing.
• Explore GenAI tools in testing to enhance efficiency.
