Job summary

Rentokil PCI is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and implement low-code/no-code automation solutions that improve customer experience and streamline workflows. You will work with a multi-functional team, including internal teams and external stakeholders, reporting to the Development Manager.

The role emphasizes building scalable LCNC solutions and integrating them with CRMs and marketing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years in automation roles focusing on LCNC platforms.
• Experience building customer experience/communication automations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map customer journeys and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and develop automation solutions using LCNC tools such as Yellow.ai, Zoho Creator, Zapier, Make.
• Build workflows, integrate data, configure interfaces, and define scalable business logic.
• Automate customer support, onboarding, feedback, and personalisation to boost CX.
• Implement communication automation across email, chatbots, social media, and internal channels.
• Integrate LCNC solutions with CRMs, helpdesk, marketing platforms, and databases via APIs.
• Test and troubleshoot to ensure reliability and alignment with requirements.
• Document processes and deliver training to users and citizen developers.
• Monitor performance of automations and drive continuous optimisation.
• Establish best practices in LCNC development ensuring scalability, security, compliance.
• Stay updated on LCNC tools, trends, and AI/ML innovations for automation strategy.

About the Role:

• The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing low-code/no-code automation solutions to enhance customer experience, streamline communication workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
• The incumbent will report to the Development Manager. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree (Stream will be preferred - Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation roles with a focus on LCNC platforms
• Proven track record in designing and implementing customer experience/communication automations
• Strong process analysis and workflow design skills
• Proficiency in LCNC tools (e.g., Yellow.ai, Zoho Creator, Zapier)
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and database management
• Basic JavaScript knowledge for custom LCNC logic (preferred)
• Experience with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Marketing Automation (e.g., Pardot, Marketo) platforms is desirable
