Job summary

Ascendeum in India is seeking a capable Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions using Python. You will focus on data automation and web scraping, and help build, test, and maintain automation frameworks.

Collaboration with product managers and clients to translate requirements into robust test and automation strategies is expected. You should have a Bachelor's in CS and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in automation.
• Strong understanding of automation tools and approaches.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective automation strategies.
• Ability to work independently or in a group.

Job responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation using Python.
• Work majorly on data automation and web scrapping.
• Work on the designing, programming, simulation, testing, and maintenance of new or existing automation frameworks.
• Designing, developing, and implementing innovative and custom automation solutions and processes.
• To write and perform complex system test scripts.
• To collaborate with product managers and clients to understand business requirements and accordingly define and plan test and automation strategies to be used.
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Taking the lead on projects, as needed.

Desired Skills:
