Job summary

Laqshya Live Experiences Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to support the design and execution of high-impact events. You will create accurate 2D drawings and, where applicable, 3D renderings for stages, exhibitions, and luxury installations.

Collaborate with production and design teams to translate concepts into buildable, safe structures, conduct site measurements, and ensure drawings meet scale and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of AutoCAD experience in events, exhibitions, or architectural design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or Photoshop is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/technical drawings.
• Understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and safety in event builds.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings including stage layouts, floor plans, venue schematics, fabrication detailing, and elevation views.
• Develop technical production drawings for vendors, fabricators, and on-ground teams.
• Ensure drawings meet scale accuracy and production feasibility.
• Collaborate with creative, production, and fabrication teams to understand design intent and convert them into workable CAD files.
• Modify drawings as per feedback from clients, venue regulations, or production feasibility.
• Support design presentations with technical inputs and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct site recces and venue measurements when required.
• Assist production team in cross-checking design vs on-ground execution.
• Ensure alignment of technical drawings with health, safety, and structural guidelines.

You will work closely with the production and design teams to translate creative concepts into buildable and safe structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawings & Layouts:

• Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings including stage layouts, floor plans, venue schematics, fabrication detailing, and elevation views.
