Job summary

AusAudit (Australian Audit India Pvt Ltd) is seeking a dedicated Australian Accountant to join our offshore team in Anand, Gujarat. The role involves working with Australian clients on real client work, not just data entry, and requires hands-on Australian accounting and taxation experience.

You will perform bookkeeping, BAS/IAS, GST compliance, payroll/STP, and financial statement preparation, with independence after onboarding and process familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years hands-on Australian accounting & taxation experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero.
• MYOB experience.
• Knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, IAS and payroll/STP requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

AusAudit (Australian Audit India Pvt Ltd) is looking for a dedicated, full-time Australian Accountant to join our growing offshore team supporting our Australian clients.

If you have hands‑on Australian accounting & taxation experience and want to work closely with an Australian team on real client work - not just data entry — we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Bookkeeping & month-end accounting for Australian clients
• BAS & IAS preparation and lodgement
• GST reconciliation & compliance
• Payroll processing & STP (Single Touch Payroll)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• Company, trust & individual tax returns & tax workpapers
• Working independently once familiar with our processes

What we’re looking for:

• 2–3+ years hands‑on Australian accounting & taxation experience (mandatory)
• Strong working knowledge of Xero & MYOB
• Solid understanding of Australian GST, BAS, IAS, & payroll/STP requirements
• Experience preparing company, trust & individual tax returns
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of client work
• Comfortable collaborating directly with Australian-based staff
