Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Audit Executive role based in Surat. The Audit Executive will assist in planning and executing statutory, internal, tax, and concurrent audits under the guidance of senior team members. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and supporting documents, testing internal controls, verifying compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and preparing working papers. The role involves drafting audit reports, documenting observations, and discussing key findings with seniors and client representatives. The Audit Executive will also support tasks related to Goods and Services Tax (GST), help maintain accurate audit documentation, and contribute to process improvements within client engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Audit Reports, including working papers, documentation, and summary findings.
• Proficiency in Goods and Services Tax (GST) concepts and practical application in audits and compliance reviews.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify variances, assess risks, and draw logical conclusions from financial data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce,
• Familiarity with accounting standards, audit methodologies, and basic tax laws.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
