Job summary

BDO EDGE India Private Limited in Gurgaon is seeking an Experience Associate for Audit and Assurance. You will perform financial statement audits, assess internal controls, and coordinate with senior team members to ensure timely completion.

You will review client data, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and prepare audit reports while liaising with clients to identify risks and opportunities for improvement. 1–4 years of audit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent certification preferred or pursuing.
• 1–4 years of experience in audit and assurance services.
• Experience with clients across industries; knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.

Responsibilities

Performfinancial statement audits in accordance with regulatoryrequirements and firm guidelines, including planning, execution, andreporting.

Evaluateand assess internalcontrols and risk management processes to identify areas forimprovement.

Reviewand test client financial data, including balance sheets, profit& loss statements, and other key financial reports.

Analyze accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accountingstandards and regulations.

Coordinatewith senior associates and managers to ensure timely completion ofaudit engagements.

Prepareand review audit reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with auditfindings and align with regulatory and professionalstandards.

Liaisewith clients to understand their business operations, identify keyrisks, and provide value-added recommendations.

Keepup to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emergingissues affecting financial reporting and auditing standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’sor master’s degree in accounting, Finance or other relevant field required.

CA/ACCA/CIAor other relevant certification preferred or working towards.

Experience:

1–4years of experience in audit and assurance services with a focus onfinancial statement audits and internal controls.

Experiencein working with clients across various industries ispreferred.

Strongunderstanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards.
