Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Bengaluru is seeking a Sr. Analyst in Finance-Accounting to support monthly and quarterly close activities in line with US GAAP and Ind AS.

You will work on ad-hoc reporting, audits, and compliance, using SAP, Excel, Alteryx, and Power BI to provide accurate financial insight. Independent work and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in US GAAP and Ind AS concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Experience with data reporting and financial controls.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly closing of management books per US GAAP and Ind AS.
• Handle ad-hoc activities, reporting, and audits.
• Coordinate statutory, cost, and internal audits.
• Update SOPs and ensure SOX/RCM compliance.
• Prepare closing journal entries and key interface reports.
• Review team outputs and ensure timely closure of books.
• Maintain strong accounting knowledge and communication.

Job Description:

Designation - GS ATR Sr. Analyst

Location - Bangalore

• Person will be responsible for Supporting Monthly & Quarterly closing of management books of accounts as per USGAAP along with closure of accounts as per Ind AS from Statutory perspective.
• Working on various Ad-Hoc Activities, Reporting and managing Internal, HCC, Compliance Audit
• requirements.
• Supporting closure of Statutory, Cost & Internal audit of the company.
• Update Process SOPs and compliance with RCM/ SOX requirements.
• Compliance in FROALIE controls.
• Preparation of closing related journal entry reports.
• Preparation of monthly key reports for interface related controls from Blackline and Cadency.
• Review of activities and reports by team members.
• Preparation of quarterly reports, Journal Logs, Balance sheet flux commentaries.
• Preparation of annual activities such as calculation of journal entry thresholds, balance carryforward, balance sheet account reconciliation criticality assessments and ledger reopening thresholds.
• Monitor timely completion of activities, and closure of books.
• Basic accounting knowledge should be strong.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of SAP, Excel & good communication skill is a must.
• Other skills related to Alteryx and Power Bi or Power Apps knowledge will be helpful.
