Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent.

There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.**Responsibilities:*** Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues* Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology and tools* Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.* Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.* Researching technical accounting issues* Developing industry expertise* Preparing audit reports, and management letters* Exercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements* Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm* Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals* Provide supervision and development training for associates* Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients* Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables* Ensuring professional development through ongoing education* Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelors in Commerce* Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA* Non-qualified: 3+ years of relevant experience* CA qualified + 1-year relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 2 years relevant experience* Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS* Strong multi-tasking and project management skills* Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients and the United States based engagement teams**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience in **“TMT”** industry* Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPointAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
