Job summary

RSM US LLP in India seeks an experienced Audit Manager to lead engagements for middle-market clients. You will oversee planning, fieldwork, and reporting while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients.

The role requires CA or ACCA/CPA qualifications with 6–7 years of relevant audit experience, strong technical proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, ISAs, and excellent English communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

India:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CA qualified + 6 years relevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 7 years relevant experience

• Strong technical proficiency with financial reporting, audit procedures, and auditing standards, including US GAAP, IFRS, ASPE Canada, US GAAS, ISA, Canadian auditing standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience leading and managing audit engagements and teams, including planning, executing, and completing audits while overseeing junior and senior audit staff.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing responsibilities across clients and engagements, meet deadlines, and maintain quality in accordance with firm and client standards.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English with firm personnel and clients, manage client relationships, respond to client needs, and address issues while building trust.

• Applies sound business judgment, risk awareness, and ethical integrity to ensure audit quality, compliance, and independence, and to provide guidance to team members.

• Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment as required including prolonged periods at a computer using standard office equipment.

• Ability to work extended and/or non-standard hours during peak periods to meet client, project, or firm business needs.

• Ability to maintain consistent onsite presence during core business hours, report regularly to a firm office with reliable transportation.
