RSM US LLP in India is seeking Audit Associates to deliver high‑quality client service for mid‑market clients across industries. You will work closely with teams to understand client businesses and execute audit plans with professional skepticism, ensuring documentation meets rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Commerce.
• CA qualified or ACCA/CPA qualified with 0–1 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analytics skills including advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas), Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication for client interactions.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management abilities.
• Ability to understand clients' businesses and communicate with US-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and demonstrate understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology and tools.
• Perform audit procedures and tests in line with the audit plan and document work.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and discuss solutions with the audit in-charge.
• Assist engagement team in preparing audit reports and management letters.
• Maintain professional skepticism and adhere to ethics on engagements.
• Ensure documentation meets firm quality standards.
• Collaborate with RSM audit professionals and senior management in the US daily.
• Own assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure timely client service.
• Coordinate development and execution of the audit work plan and deliverables.
• Understand RSM US and service offerings and work as a team for integrated service delivery.
• Pursue ongoing education for professional development.
• Participate in projects and collaborate with multiple teams with initiative and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Audit associates provide timely, high quality client service with large and small companies in a variety of industries. They will develop strong working relationships while working closely with teams to understand clients' businesses and challenges. Associates serve our clients by:

• Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology and tools
• Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed
• Identifying accounting and auditing issues; discussing with audit in-charge to solve issues that arise
• Assisting engagement team in preparation of audit reports, and management letters
• Exercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements
• Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm
• Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals, supervisors, and senior management in the U.S. on a daily basis
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients
• Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables
• Understanding RSM US and RSM's line of business service offerings and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery
• Ensuring professional development through ongoing education
• Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work
• Developing an understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in Commerce
• Non-qualified: 1 year of relevant experience
• CA qualified, ACCA/CPA qualified + 0-1 years relevant experience
• Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients

• CA/ACCA/CPA Freshers' successfully achieved certification
