Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking an Associate Web Analytics Engineer in Bangalore to manage website tagging, data collection and reporting for global sites. You will define tagging standards and work with Marketing, UX and Tech teams to ensure privacy and data quality.

The role focuses on building dashboards, analyzing website behavior, and enabling insights across the organization with a global reach. Hybrid work model with initial office-based probation in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role managing web analytics from a technology, implementation, and data perspective.
  • Experience structuring enterprise web analytics platforms (GA and Omniture).
  • Experience with multi-channel data and both B2B/B2C use cases.
  • Frontend development knowledge a plus and experience in global organizations.
  • Strong reporting, data quality and privacy-awareness skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee enterprise-level tag management using Google Tag Manager and One Trust across global websites.
  • Collaborate with business units and vendors to ensure tracking accuracy and data access.
  • Deliver analytics and insights on website behavior and usage and support tagging as needed.
  • Develop automated reports and dashboards on website traffic for all levels of the organization.
  • Establish KPIs, benchmarks, and targets across projects including SEO/SEM and emails.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and respond to ad-hoc data requests.

Job description Associate Web Analytics Engineer Location: Bangalore, India

GENERAL PURPOSE This Associate Web Analytics Engineer is responsible for managing website tracking tagging and data collection, to enable insights on website behavior and usage for all Miller Knoll Group’s customer-facing and internal websites globally. This individual will develop a blueprint for tagging standards to drive consistency across our web platforms. Associate Web Analytics Engineer will setup digital applications such as 3rd party pixels, heat mapping tools, testing, and personalization products. This individual will work cross-functionally with vertical business units, Digital Marketing, UX, Technology, Legal, and 3rd party vendor teams to understand web tracking requirements, to provide reporting for these websites, and to ensure all data collection adheres to privacy guidelines and regulations. Working as part of a technical team providing requirements, directions, and best practices on what is needed for the business to collect data that will allow it to understand how enhancements and new functionality affect the customer journey and be able to do so in a secure and performant manner. Scope of role may include all digital properties across the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Oversee enterprise-level tag management using Google Tag Manager (for marketing and tracking tags) and One Trust (for privacy tags), including implementation, transitions, and ongoing maintenance of tags across all our global websites.
  • Collaborate with vertical business units, Digital Marketing, UX, Technology, and 3rd party vendor teams to ensure proper tracking function and data quality, and to provide the teams with data access and analytical support.
  • Deliver analytics and insights on website behavior and usage and help to support website tagging as needed.
  • Develop and deliver automated reports and dashboards on website traffic and usage, to be used by all levels across the organization.
  • Develop and implement appropriate means to measure website usability and effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests to support our retail, contract, and internal websites.
  • Assist in the implementation of our enterprise-wide data consolidation efforts.
  • Quickly identify causes and solutions to issues or unexpected results that are identified in reporting, across all of HMG’s websites.
  • Work to establish key performance indicators, benchmarks and targets across various projects, including new web site features, performance, SEO, SEM, social media, display advertising and email.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Associate Web Analytics Engineer SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role managing web analytics from a technology, implementation, and data perspective.
  • Skilled with structuring and leveraging enterprise web analytics platforms, including Google Analytics and Omniture.
  • Experience with customer perception measurement tools.
  • Experience with multi-channel data.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C industries and use cases.
  • Technical knowledge in content management and ecommerce systems is a plus.
  • Experience with frontend web development best practices.
  • Experience with frontend performance and page speed optimization.
  • Experience in a global organization desired.
  • Familiar with web accessibility.
  • Strong analytical, organization, time management and process management skills for success in a results-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills to communicate information, ideas, procedures and processes in a logical sequence; at a level appropriate to the audience and resulting in effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software and tools currently used in the Miller Knoll office environment.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled. Location of work is Bangalore, India. Initial 6 months, until successful completion of probation period, employees will work from office all 5 days a week from office and then transition to hybrid working model.

  • Matrix reporting to Manager in US
