Job summary

NatWest Group in Bengaluru seeks an Executive-level AWS Software Engineer AVP to lead critical cloud native delivery. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to design, implement and operate scalable platforms.

You'll bring 8+ years in OpenShift, Kubernetes and AWS, a strong eye for reliability, security and automation, and comfort shaping complex technical decisions in a global environment. This role requires hands-on coding and architecture leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, PCF and CI/CD automation using GitLab, Jenkins, Helm and Terraform.
• Strong experience in platform observability, monitoring and reliability with Splunk, Datadog, DxAPM and OpenTelemetry.
• Expertise delivering secure, scalable, and resilient platforms with IAM, Vault, PingFederate and Qualys.

The skills you'll need

• At least eight years of experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, PCF, and CI/CD automation using GitLab, Jenkins, Helm, and Terraform
• Strong experience in platform observability, monitoring, and reliability using Splunk, Datadog, DxAPM, and OpenTelemetry
• Expertise to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient platforms, leveraging IAM, Vault, PingFederate, and Qualys while driving cross-functional collaboration
• A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems
• Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
