Job summary

Sikich India is seeking a Tax Associate with 0-3 years of experience for our Ahmedabad office.

You will collect tax forms, track client paperwork, prepare tax returns, and produce tax reports, while leveraging US GAAP accounting practices.

Experience with QuickBooks and MS Excel is preferred, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s Degree in Accounting with US Taxation experience.
• CA/CPA/EA certification (or progress towards certification) – preferred.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems.
• Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project deliverables and client engagements.
• Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns.
• Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
• Manage and maintain the company’s tax database.
• Ensure to comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
• Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
• Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
