Portage Point Partners, LLC, a Chicago-headquartered advisory firm, is seeking an Associate, Turnaround Restructuring Services (TRS) in India to support high-stakes engagements. The role is housed with Triple P India in Gurgaon and reports to the TRS Director, contributing to restructuring, distressed advisory and operational transformation work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three plus years of experience at a top-tier advisory firm serving U.S. clients.
• Experience building three-statement models, TWCFs, dynamic KPI dashboards and ad hoc analyses.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills including executive-ready presentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior team members and clients to support complex operational and financial challenges across the business lifecycle including formulating business plan and liquidity assessments and implementing cost reduction, value creation, business transformation and performance improvement plans, and if necessary, contingency planning and Chapter 11 bankruptcy preparation / execution
• Analyze financial statements and key operational data; build models such as three-statement forecasts, thirteen-week cash flows (TWCFs), and value creation scenarios
• Contribute to restructuring workstreams including DIP sizing, Chapter 11 filing prep, vendor analysis, SOAL / SOFAs, MORs, KPI tracking, retention plans, liquidation analyses, headcount forecasts, GL review, footprint rationalization, S&OP, organizational design and go-to-market strategy
• Identify and re-allocate resources to operational, growth, financial and strategic initiatives with highest risk adjusted return
• Develop detailed financial projections and business plans
• Create high-impact deliverables including business plan materials, liquidity projections, analysis of strategic alternatives, KPIs, financial updates and board-ready reporting for executives, investors and creditors
• Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven culture

The Associate, Turnaround Restructuring Services (TRS) role at Portage Point represents a unique opportunity to drive meaningful impact on complex, high-stakes client challenges. As a key contributor within our TRS practice, this Associate will support the full spectrum of restructuring, distressed advisory and operational transformation work – from situational assessment and stabilization initiatives, restructuring strategy development and overall financial and operational value creation plan execution. This Associate, TRS will report to the local TRS Director and will execute discrete workstreams on client engagements, contribute to proposal development and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Office of the CFO, Transaction Execution Services, Investment Banking and Transaction Advisory Services teams. • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills


• Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
