Job summary

Harbinger Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong .NET and Angular 18 expertise to design, develop, and optimize web applications while mentoring junior developers.

You will work across frontend, backend, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile environment, using Azure services, CI/CD, and modern tooling to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend and backend development experience with Angular 18 and .NET Core Microservices.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, SCSS, Angular Material, and frontend design patterns.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and GraphQL services in production.
• Strong unit and E2E testing with Jest and Cypress.
• Experience with Azure services (Functions, Web Apps, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).
• Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and Agile mindset.

Responsibilities

Were seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong command of .Net and Angular 18 and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will excel in both technical execution and collaborative leadership, demonstrating excellent communication skills and an Agile mindset. Youll play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our web applications while mentoring junior developers and participate in technical discussions and contribute to design decisions

1. Design and implement reusable components and responsive UI using Angular Material UI 14.2.5 and FAST.

2. Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET 10.0 and .NET Core Microservices.

3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# 14 following best practices.

4. Develop event-driven systems with Azure Service Bus for message brokering and Azure Data Factory for ETL processes.

5. Implement logging, error handling, and monitoring using Serilog, NLog, and SonarCloud for static code analysis.

6. Write unit and end-to-end tests with Jest to ensure reliable, high-quality software.

7. Manage dependencies with NuGet and collaborate through CI/CD pipelines.

8. Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, while collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

9. Communicate technical ideas and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure code quality with ESLint, Prettier, and SCSS for clean, maintainable styling.

10. Work with CI/CD pipelines and support build/deployment troubleshooting optimize performance using NPM, Gulp, and Webpack.

11. Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

12. Support junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, promoting best practices and technical excellence.

13. Collaborate with team leads, product owners, and QA to understand requirements and deliver assigned features.

14. Suggest and implementing innovative solutions for better performance and maintainability.

Position specific skills

1. 6+ years of experience in frontend and backend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing Angular 18 projects and with a strong focus on .NET Core Microservices.

2. Proficiency in TypeScript, SCSS, Angular Material, and frontend design patterns.

3. Proficiency in C# 14 and experience building RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

4. Strong understanding of unit testing and E2E testing frameworks: Jest, Cypress.

5. Expertise in Azure services — Functions, Web Apps, Redis Cache, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database.

6. Knowledge of containers and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

7. Proven leadership experience — mentoring developers and contributing to technical decisions.

8. Excellent communication skills — ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

9. Agile mindset — comfortable working in sprints, adapting to changes, and collaborating cross-functionally.
