• Design, build, and maintain technology solutions within the finance systems domain, aligning technology with business goals.
• Develop integrations between multiple systems, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and high performance.
• Analyze requirements to create functional and technical designs, and delivery plans for ERP and integrated applications.
• Lead project execution, ensuring solutions meet standards of creativity, functionality, and sustainability.
• Use technical expertise to design solutions addressing business needs, develop roadmaps, create POCs and MVPs, and ensure long-term deployment viability.
• Implement and optimize DevOps practices within the Enterprise finance tech stack.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, workflows, and architecture diagrams, for team collaboration.
• Define and document system requirements, processes, and workflows for clarity across teams.
• Promote collaboration and effective communication among stakeholders, system owners, and vendors.
• Guide team members in delivering innovative solutions through architectural direction and technical recommendations.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, enterprise architects, developers, vendors, and IT management, adapting as needed.
• Stay informed on industry best practices to design and implement top-tier systems architecture for the Finance Systems team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Overall 8+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead technical role.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or Finance Systems, including design and implementation of finance functionalities.
• Proficiency in designing, configuring, and implementing finance systems such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Collections, Tax, and Inventory.
• Understanding of billing and subscription management, including integrations with CRM, CPQ, ERP, and RevRec platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of finance-related technologies and programming languages.
• Deep understanding of finance value streams like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Plan to Report, and their system architectures.
• Ability to define problems, analyze data, and support actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration and presenting technical concepts to leadership.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with systems like Intacct, Blackline, Avalara, Salesforce, MS SQL, and APIs is highly desirable.

Additional Skills:

• Experience in ERP configuration, customization, or development within systems like NetSuite, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, etc.
• Knowledge of API and integration frameworks, including CRUD, Microservices, and Pub/Sub models.
• Understanding of finance business processes such as GL, AR, AP, Billing, Invoicing, VAT, and Tax.

Business and Behavioral Expectations:

• Basic understanding of finance business operations.
• Ability to leverage AI in coding and an understanding of AI concepts.
• Strong prioritization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking, with a background in business management and analysis considered a plus.
