Job Description

Thisrole is part of our advisory services business and involves working directlywith global institutional investors such as investment banks, hedge funds andprivate equity firms. The candidate will be expected to take lead and supportvarious stages of investment transactions across credit and alternative assetclasses. They will ensure timely and high-quality deliverables, contribute tovaluation methodologies, and potentially oversee a small team.

Key Responsibilities:-

Workclosely with the clients in supporting them through various stages in the lifecycle of an investment transaction across various credit and alternative assetclasses – loan portfolios, securitisations and other structured creditproducts, specialty financing and real estate.

• Create and review flexible, transparent financial models forperiodic independent valuations, adhering to regulatory standards foralternative investment funds.
• Take the lead in designing valuation approaches for new assettypes and contribute to enhancing the firm’s valuations platform for privatemarkets.
• Develop financial models from scratch, model scenarios, runsensitivity analyses, and design payment waterfalls.
• Work as an extended team of clients on underwriting investmentswhich includes creating financial models from scratch, modelling for differentscenarios, running sensitivities, analytics and payment waterfalls.
• Present the analysis or cashflow models to clients/thirdparties on calls as well as assist in the preparation of investment summariesand credit memos.
• Present the valuation outputs to clients, investors andauditors on calls.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct technicaltraining, and oversee smaller teams to ensure timely project completion.
  

Requirements

• Basic understanding of financial statement, securitisations, prepayments,defaults, and various capital structures.
• High level of proficiency in financial modelling using MSExcel.
• Ability to work independently and manage smaller groups to ensuretimely project completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA from anaccredited institution, certifications like CFA, FRM, CAIA are a plus.
• Understanding of financial statement, securitisations, prepayments,defaults, and various capital structures.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel; VBAknowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with valuations in private markets.
• Ability to work independently and manage smaller groups to ensuretimely project completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multipleassignments under pressure to meet deadlines.
