Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to develop and execute test plans for quality assurance. You will perform manual and automated testing, track defects, and collaborate with developers, BAs, and project teams across the SDLC to ensure robust software delivery.

Experience in testing web applications and familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes is required. This mid-level role emphasizes proactive issue identification, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement.

Associate Software Engineer Job Overview

Under general guidance, develops and executes test plans and scripts to confirm the quality and success of various technologies. Manual and automated testing of applications and web resources works as specified; ensures a system performs adequately deployed platform.

Essential Functions

• Understand and review requirements, create test plan or contribute in test estimation, planning/strategy
• Responsible for test planning, test case authoring and execution for compliance products’ for client implementation projects
• Executing test iterations, defect tracking and reporting test results, troubleshooting and coordinating with team focusing defect resolution
• Work closely with Developers, Tech leads/managers, BA/Consultant and other project stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Coordinate with BA and development teams in resolving road blocks and issues
• Document, track and escape issues as appropriate
• Hands on experience in running test scripts and identify scope for areas of automation to bring process efficiency
• Proactively to discuss/flag challenges, risk & mitigation plan with the Manager and seek for necessary support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Req
• Two (2) years related experience in quality assurance and testing Req
• At least 2+ years of experience in testing web-application projects Advanced And
• Knowledge on SDLC, Agile Methodologies like Scrum Advanced And
