Job summary

Roundglass Wellbeing Pvt Ltd in Mohali invites a hands-on Software Engineer to join the Impact Analytics team. You will design data models, build RESTful APIs with Node.js, and develop interactive dashboards in Power BI and Metabase to support self-service analytics.

The role focuses on end-to-end data modeling, reporting, and integration with low-code platforms, enabling a fast-growing wellbeing technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of professional software and BI engineering experience.
• PowerBI: hands-on reports, dashboards and dataflows.
• DAX & MDX: ability to write complex measures and calculations.
• Semantic/dimensional modeling: star/snowflake schemas.
• Metabase: creating questions, dashboards and models.
• REST API design with authentication and documentation.
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with NocoDB and low-code platforms is a plus.
• Experience with workflow/BPM tools and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI and Metabase.
• Build semantic models to support self-service analytics.
• Develop DAX measures and MDX queries for multi-dimensional analysis.
• Optimize query performance and implement incremental refresh.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into visuals.

About the role:

Weare looking for a hands-on Software Engineer to join our Impact Analytics team. The ideal candidate will combine strong backend development skills in Node.js with deep expertise in business intelligence, dimensional data modeling, and self-service analytics platforms such as Power BI and Metabase or similar.

Youwill play a pivotal role in designing data models, building APIs, developinganalytical dashboards, and integrating low-code platforms and workflow enginesto support a fast-growing social impact technology ecosystem. This is anexcellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across the full stack— from database schema to semantic models to reporting and APIs.

What you’ll do:

• BusinessIntelligence & Analytics Design, develop, and maintain interactivedashboards, paginated reports, and KPI scorecards in Power BI and Metabase.
• Buildrobust semantic / dimensional data models (star and snowflake schemas) tosupport self-service analytics.
• DevelopDAX measures, calculated columns, and MDX queries for multi-dimensionalanalysis and complex business logic.
• Optimizereport performance through query tuning, aggregation strategies, andincremental refresh.
• Collaboratewith business teams to translate requirements into clear, actionablevisualizations and metrics.
• Design,develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express or similarframeworks).
• ApplyREST principles, versioning, authentication (JWT / OAuth2), and standardizederror handling consistently.
• Writeclean, modular, well-documented code with appropriate unit and integrationtests.
• Integratethird-party APIs and internal services to support reporting, automation, andworkflow pipelines.
• Designnormalized OLTP schemas and denormalized OLAP / reporting schemas based on usecase.
• Writeefficient SQL queries, schema design, views, and indexes across MySQL,PostgreSQL.
• ImplementETL / ELT pipelines to move data between transactional systems and analyticslayers.
• Ensuredata quality, consistency, deduplication, and integrity across distributedsources.
• Configureand extend low-code data platforms such as NocoDB to deliver rapid applicationbackends.
• Workwith workflow and BPM tools (e.g., XState, Camunda, n8n, Power Automate) tomodel and automate business processes.
• Buildintegrations between low-code platforms, APIs, and BI tools to createend-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• MinimumB.Tech in Computer Science or Equivalent.
• 2–3years of professional experience in software development and BI engineering.
• PowerBI: hands-on experience building reports, dashboards, datasets, and dataflows.
• DAX& MDX: demonstrated ability to write complex measures, calculated columns,and MDX queries.
• Semantic/ dimensional modeling: solid understanding of star schema, fact and dimensiontables, surrogate keys, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Metabase:experience creating questions, dashboards, models, and managing permissions.
• RESTAPI design: good grasp of RESTful principles, HTTP semantics, authentication,and API documentation (OpenAPI / Swagger/Postman).
• Databaseprogramming: strong SQL skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent; abilityto design schemas from scratch.
• NocoDBor similar low-code tools: working exposure to setting up bases, views, and APIendpoints. (Nice to have)
• Workflow/ BPM tools: exposure to at least one (XState, Camunda, n8n, Power Automate, orsimilar). (Nice to have)
• Versioncontrol: comfortable with Git, branching strategies, and pull-requestworkflows.
• Experiencein API integration with Mobile App is plus.
