Job summary

TriNet is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Hyderabad, India. You will design, develop, test, and release applications, platform capabilities, and integrations to support our technology solutions.

You will work across the SDLC, follow coding standards, and contribute to unit tests and automated scripts. Experience with Java, Python, and modern UI frameworks is valued, as is collaborating with distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with Java, Python, or other OO languages.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of new products/solutions, as well as enhancements, updates, and issue resolution for existing systems.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Follow established coding standards and best practices, contributing through hands-on coding.
• Develop unit tests and automated test scripts in support of a test-driven development (TDD) approach.
• Leverage coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) for code generation, review, and test creation (good to have).
• Build rapid prototypes and proof of concepts (POCs) to validate new ideas and solutions.
• Should be comfortable working independently or collaborating with others
