Job summary

• Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related technical issues.
• Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in incident and problem management activities.
• Work closely with Application Developers, DevOps, QA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and changes.
• Analyze logs, SQL queries, database performance, and application behaviour to identify the root cause of issues.
• Participate in deployments, releases, production support, and post-deployment validation activities.
• Ensure database queries & other relevant changes are properly tested, documented, and implemented as per defined processes.
• Coordinate with different teams to track issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate technical issues, status, risks, and resolutions effectively to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Interact directly with customers, understand their issues/requirements, provide appropriate updates, and manage technical discussions professionally.
• Take ownership of assigned issues and ensure timely closure with proper communication and follow-up.
