Cargill is seeking a software engineer in Bengaluru to design, develop, and maintain high quality software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver reliable releases and meet business needs with strong cybersecurity focus.

Your role includes writing tests, automating deployments, documenting configurations, and providing technical support to ensure smooth operations. This position emphasizes continuous improvement and hands-on contributions.

Formación

• Bachelors degree or an equivalent in Technology (preferable BTECH / BE).
• Any prior exposure with software development projects / lifecycle and deployments will be an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop high quality software solutions.
• Partner to apply internal deployment platforms and tools to automate releases.
• Coordinate with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to meet business needs and cybersecurity goals.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and debug to ensure quality and performance.
• Suggest and implement improvements to software development and deployment processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for applications, deployment processes, and configurations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and resolve issues quickly.

Key Accountabilities

• SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Assists with designing and developing high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes.
• AUTOMATION: Partners to apply internal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
• COLLABORATION: Coordinates cross functional team of product managers, designers, architects, and other engineers to help gather requirements and deliver resolutions that meet business needs and deliver cybersecurity goals.
• TESTING & DEBUGGING: Writes and maintains standard unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software.
• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Makes suggestions for improving the software development and deployment processes, and partners to implement the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability.
• DOCUMENTATION: Maintains comprehensive documentation for software applications, deployment processes and system configurations.
• TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support and troubleshooting for standard issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution.
