We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic SEO Trainees who are passionate about building a successful career in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Digital Marketing. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to gain real-world industry exposure through a free internship program.

As an SEO Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced digital marketing and development teams, gaining hands‑on experience in on-page SEO, off-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, content optimisation, link building, website audits, and performance analysis. You will also learn how to use industry-leading SEO tools, monitor search engine rankings, analyse website traffic, and implement strategies to improve organic visibility.

This internship is designed to equip you with practical skills, industry best practices, and real-world project experience, providing a strong foundation for a successful career in SEO and Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO strategies.
• Conduct keyword research using industry-standard SEO tools.
• Optimise website content, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URLs for search engines.
• Perform website SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor website rankings, organic traffic, and keyword performance.
• Assist in creating and optimising SEO‑friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and websites.
• Support link‑building and off-page SEO activities to improve domain authority.
• Analyse competitor websites and identify SEO opportunities.
• Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog to track and improve website performance.
• Identify and report technical SEO issues, including crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links, and page speed improvements.
• Collaborate with developers and content writers to implement SEO best practices.
• Generate SEO performance reports and present key insights.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and digital marketing best practices.
• Assist in Local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimisation and local citations.
• Learn and follow industry‑standard SEO processes while contributing to live client projects.

Eligibility Criteria

• Any graduate / postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, MCA, BCA, or a related field.
• Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience.
• Candidates seeking a free internship for learning and career growth.
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO concepts.
• Familiarity with keyword research and search intent analysis.
• Basic understanding of Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
• Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of website crawling and auditing tools such as Screaming Frog SEO Spider.
• Understanding of website indexing, crawling, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure for SEO optimisation.
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with link-building strategies and backlink analysis.
• Basic understanding of Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation.
• Knowledge of content optimisation, meta tags, schema markup, and internal linking.
• Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including content marketing and social media marketing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse data and generate actionable SEO insights.
• Eagerness to learn new SEO tools, Google algorithm updates, and emerging digital marketing trends.
