Job summary

HackerOne seeks an Associate Renewal Specialist to manage renewals and quotes for customer accounts while supporting Sales teams in Salesforce. This role emphasizes customer success, collaboration, and driving KPI-driven renewals in a dynamic SaaS environment.

The position reports to the Manager, Customer Success and requires enthusiasm for both internal and external customer support and achieving aggressive retention targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of renewal sales experience in software/web technologies, with exposure to technical audiences.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
• Proficient with Salesforce.com and CPQ.
• Able to understand and articulate new technologies and their value.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Familiar with Slack and Google Apps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and partners to align renewal strategies with account objectives.
• Work with Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Aim to meet and exceed quarterly and annual retention quotas and metrics.
• Develop negotiation skills with stakeholders including business, procurement and legal.
• Assist in building relationships with existing accounts to facilitate timely renewals.
• Acquire knowledge of security, vulnerability management, and bug bounty programs.
• Use Salesforce.com for account management, forecast planning and customer tracking.
• Assist Sales with quoting support and daily Salesforce administration.
• Maintain accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

Associate Renewal Specialist

HackerOne is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our sales team as an Associate Renewal Specialist. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Success, you will play a crucial role in managing the renewal process for our customer accounts, as well as quoting and general Salesforce support for the Sales teams you are partnered with. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both internal and external customer support and exceeding KPIs.

Your Journey at HackerOne

• Collaborate closely with Customer Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and HackerOne partners to align renewal strategies with broader account objectives.
• Work collaboratively with the Customer Success team to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Aim to meet and exceed quarterly and annual retention quotas and additional metrics.
• Cultivate strong negotiation skills with various stakeholders, including business, procurement, and legal contacts.
• Assist in developing relationships with existing accounts to facilitate timely renewals.
• Rapidly acquire knowledge of security, vulnerability management, and bug bounty programs.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for account and opportunity management, forecast management and customer experience tracking.
• Assist Sales team members with quoting support and day-to-day Salesforce administration.
• Maintain accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

Who You Are

• Possess 2+ years of experience in software or web technologies renewal sales, with exposure to technical audiences (experience in Internet security market and/or SaaS preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
• Proficient understanding of Salesforce.com and CPQ.
• Proficient in understanding and articulating new technologies, aligning their value propositions with customer needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with Slack and Google Apps.
