Job summary

Chitkara University is seeking an Associate Professor for the Chitkara Law School. The role involves providing academic and research leadership, teaching, mentoring, and driving accreditation initiatives within the Law School.

The candidate will lead curriculum development, strengthen industry and academic partnerships, and supervise research and doctoral work to elevate the Law School’s standing.

Qualifications

• LLB, LLM and Ph.D in Law from a reputed university in India or abroad.
• Minimum 8 years of overall work experience in legal education (Post Masters in LLM).
• Experience in facilitating accreditation and rankings (NAAC, NIRF).

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in IPR, Technology Law, and Trade & Investment Law.
• Set academic goals and lead academic and research initiatives for the Law School.
• Build cohesive teams and foster a culture of academic excellence.
• Upgrade teaching-learning processes and pedagogy.

• Support institutional quality assessment, compliance, and faculty development.
• Facilitate accreditation and ranking processes with NAAC and NIRF.
