Job summary

RSM is hiring for a risk advisory professional in a hybrid role based in Gurugram. The candidate should hold an MBA/PGDM in risk management or related field with initial exposure to internal audit, SOX, and financial controls. CA/CPA/CIA certifications are a plus but not mandatory.

Strong English communication is required for client interactions and travel may be needed. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Visio is expected, with openness to leveraging new tools.

• We are seeking a focused and qualified professional with an MBA, PGDM in Risk Management, and/ or B.Com (Hons.) from top universities, with foundational experience in internal audit, SOX advisory, financial controls, contract compliance, and credit reviews.

• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CIA are a plus but not mandatory

• Strong understanding of financial and operational audits, and ability to design and assess internal controls over financial reporting and SOX 404

• Experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Visio and openness to leverage new tools

• Comfortable with hybrid work environment, strong project management, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required for frequent communication with RSM International clients

• Ability to travel to meet business needs and work collaboratively with others in-person and remotely

• You should be able to leverage academic training in risk management and business administration to support internal audit and risk advisory engagements

• Demonstrate a strong foundation in business and risk principles gained through academic programs and proactively apply this knowledge in client engagements

• Apply structured problem-solving and analytical skills developed through undergraduate, MBA and PGDM coursework to assess internal controls and risk frameworks
