Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a senior project/delivery leader to drive multiple global initiatives. You will manage a ~20–25 person team, oversee a $3–5 million portfolio, and coordinate with cross-functional and distributed teams.

The role requires hands-on Qualtrics experience and a track record of delivering complex programs across regions. Based in Shanghai, you will help establish the new office, partner with HR for talent acquisition, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience in project management, delivery management, or related roles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, governance, and delivery practices.
  • Experience in senior project or delivery leadership roles.
  • Strong background in project delivery, team building, stakeholder management, and operational management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a global delivery environment.
  • Prior experience in Retail, CPG, and/or e-Commerce is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Establish project plans, delivery timelines, milestones, dependencies, and governance aligned with business objectives.
  • Apply project management methodologies to drive planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders to meet goals and client expectations.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Facilitate status meetings and maintain project documentation, trackers, and reports.
  • Provide updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and priorities.
  • Leverage Qualtrics to support relevant project delivery and initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to support talent acquisition for the new location.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new employees and ensure alignment with values and performance expectations.
  • Build and mentor a team of ~20–25 resources; drive utilization and performance management.
  • Support the establishment and smooth functioning of the new Shanghai office.
  • Serve as a liaison between local teams and global stakeholders for alignment on priorities.

  • Support financial tracking and reporting for projects and portfolio activities, including budgets, forecasts, and delivery performance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and business growth within the new location.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented approach when addressing challenges in an evolving business environment.
  • Continuously improve project delivery processes, workflows, governance, and operational practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across distributed teams.
  • Support office growth, capability development, and scaling initiatives as the location matures.
Qualifications
