Job summary

MassMutual India is seeking a platform/SRE engineer with 3–5 years in infrastructure and cloud platforms. You will own end-to-end platform initiatives, scale Kubernetes clusters, and drive IaC and GitOps adoption across engineering teams.

You will work in an enterprise setting with SOC 2 / ISO27001 / GDPR controls, contribute to design docs and ADRs, and mentor teams on best practices for AI/ML infra, multi-cloud, and secure deployments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in platform, infrastructure or SRE with ≥2 years on cloud infra.
• Cloud-native architecture including Kubernetes at scale, cloud services, networking, identity federation and multi-tenancy across AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Ownership of complex, multi-month platform initiatives from whiteboard to production.
• IaC and GitOps fluency: Terraform or Pulumi, ArgoCD; standardising tooling and deployment patterns.
• Hands-on AI/ML infra: model serving, inference pipelines, GPU resource management or LLM integration.
• Ability to communicate through design discussions and ADRs; explain architectural decisions clearly.
• Experience in enterprise environments with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR familiarity.
• Strong communication; contributing to design docs and stakeholder alignment.

• 3 to 5 years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE — with at least 2 years focused on cloud infrastructure or developer platforms.


• Familiar in cloud-native architecture: Kubernetes at scale, managed cloud services, networking, identity federation, and multi-tenancy patterns across AWS, GCP, or Azure.


• Proven ownership of complex, multi-month platform initiatives — you’ve involved from whiteboard to production, managing ambiguity and risk throughout.


• Familiar with IaC and GitOps fluency — Terraform or Pulumi, ArgoCD — with experience standardising platform tooling and deployment patterns across engineering teams.


• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML infrastructure: model serving, inference pipelines, GPU resource management, or LLM integration patterns.


• Ability to understand through technical credibility — in design discussions and alignment, and raising quality


• Experience in enterprise environments with familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.


• Strong communication — you contribute to the design docs, maintain useful ADRs, and should be able to explain architectural decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
