At Kognitiv Inc., a hybrid Associate Workday Financials Manager position blends client management with consulting responsibilities across a portfolio of Workday Finance projects. You will plan, scope, and drive timely, high-quality deliverables, while strengthening client relationships and acting as a mentor to team members.

The role requires deep Workday Financials knowledge, multi-project engagement, and strong communication to coordinate with distributed teams and leadership across time zones.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Workday Finance experience in customer facing roles, such as consulting, project/program management, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday Core Financials/Security/Reporting as well as at least one additional module (Procurement, Suppliers, Expenses, Projects, FDM/Financial Accounting with Advanced Financial Reporting, Customers and Customer Billing, Education and Government, Prism, BIRT).
  • Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects of all sizes in both supporting and leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to deliver excellent client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships.
  • Proficiency of project management methodologies, change management principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience implementing business solutions under competing deadlines and priorities while keeping a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure timeliness and quality with no supervision.
  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines, deadlines, and goals for both self and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, instruction, direction, and coaching to team members to ensure projects are executed timely and with quality.
  • Ensure a strong relationship is built with clients; ensure clients see Kognitiv as a valuable partner to their business.
  • Measure, support, and address client satisfaction; ensure escalations are addressed and mitigated in a timely manner. Ensure proper communication with leadership on all escalations.
  • Implement and configure Workday solutions for a global customer base.
  • Design, configure, test, and deploy business requirements across multiple Workday Financials while remaining agile and flexible to clients' changing needs.
  • Assist management in monitoring and evaluating consultants' performance, providing feedback, facilitating training and development, and driving retention and engagement within the team.
  • Contribute to the organization's knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues (ex: Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of Workday knowledge sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices, etc).
  • Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
  • Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.

Associate Workday Financials Manager is a hybrid role with a blend of client management and consulting responsibilities. This role manages a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring client satisfaction standards are met. This role is also responsible for leading and deploying various Workday projects across different clients. Associate Managers are team players with a desire to grow into customer success, people manager, or business operations capacity.
